Learning Not to Catastrophize

Today was the first time that something bad happened and I didn’t feel like it was the end of the world.

Anxiety likes to blow everything out of proportion. Hear a weird noise at night when you are home alone? Axe murderer. Have a weird symptom? Cancer. Money tight? You are going to be homeless and starve to death.
